With Research In Motion having rolled out so many new BlackBerry® models over the past few months, we certainly were not expecting anything new for a while. However, word on the street is that RIM is preparing to launch the new BlackBerry® 9790 Bold™.
This new Bold™ would run OS7 and have NFC capability (Near Field Communications). This seems to be hot new trend for both wireless payments and RIM’s new way of exchanging data from phone to phone called the BlackBerry® Tag. It is also rumoured to have a 2.4 inch touch-screen, 1.2 GHz processor, 5 mega pixel camera, 8GB of storage and a full QWERTY keyboard.
The 9790 Bold is set for initial release on Canadian wireless networks like Telus, Wind Mobile and Koodo.
