How to enter an Unlock Code on the Blackberry Pearl Flip 8220 

* You must have an active SIM card in your phone to complete these steps.
  1. Make sure the battery is fully charged.
  2. Insert  SIM into device
  3. Power phone on and Turn off the radio (Turn Wireless Off option) This is VERY IMPORTANT.
  4. Select “Options” THEN SELECT ADVANCED OPTIONS
  5. Scroll down and select “SIM Card”
  6. Type “MEPPD” (please note that what you type will not show on the screen)
  7. Type “MEPP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2?  (please note that what you type will not show on the screen)
  8. Enter the Unlock Code received from UnlockWorldwide.com.
  9. Press enter
  10. Reboot the 8220 Pearl device.
  11. Device is now unlocked.
