8120 – Unlocking Instructions

NOTE:

If the Blackberry 8120 is asking “enter network mep code”, then these are the unlocking instructions to be used once you have received your unlock code from UnlockWorldwide.com.

How to enter an Unlock Code on the Blackberry Pearl Flip 8200

* You must have an active SIM card in your phone to complete these steps.

  1. Make sure you have a fully charged battery.
  2. Insert  a SIM card into the device
  3. Power phone on and Turn off the radio (Turn Wireless Off option) This is VERY IMPORTANT.
  4. Select “Options” THEN SELECT ADVANCED OPTIONS
  5. Scroll down and select “SIM Card”
  6. Type “MEPPD” (please note that what you type will not show on the screen)
  7. Type “MEPP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2?  (please note that what you type will not show on the screen)
  8. Enter the Unlock Code received from UnlockWorldwide.com.
  9. Press enter
  10. Reboot the 8120 Pearl Flip device.
  11. Your Blackberry is now unlocked.
