9810 Blackberry Torch – Launch on Canadian Networks
Research In Motion is releasing the new 9810 Blackberry Torch in Canada. It will be available on most of the Canadian wireless networks.
Rogers, Bell, Telus, MTN, Sasktel and Virgin have all begun to market the new Smartphone. No news yet on whether FIDO, Wind, or TBayTel will follow suit.
The new 9810 Torch comes network locked and will vary in price, from $149.99 with a 3 year contract to as much as $619.99 outright with no contract.
The 9810 Torch is a touchscreen slider. It has a slide out keyboard similar to the 9800 model. The new model comes loaded with RIM’s new Blackberry OS 7 operating system, a 1.2 GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera that takes 720p HD video and a 3.2 inch touchscreen display.
